The exhibition has 23 pieces that represent, according to the artist, the internal erosion of the human being when it\u2019s influenced by an environment of economic stagnation and social deterioration.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;My work reflects and represents what I\u2019m feeling, thats why it is a very special labor&#8221;, commented the artista.<\/span><\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/insagrado.sagrado.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Pablo-Santiago-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-16732 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/insagrado.sagrado.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Pablo-Santiago-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"828\" height=\"552\" srcset=\"https:\/\/insagrado.sagrado.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Pablo-Santiago-2.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/insagrado.sagrado.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Pablo-Santiago-2-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/insagrado.sagrado.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Pablo-Santiago-2-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/insagrado.sagrado.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Pablo-Santiago-2-1024x683.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 828px) 100vw, 828px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In a cozy atmosphere, those present were able to see in detail the three-dimensional works created in concrete and steel combinations that also explore the relationship of society with the buildings that surround it. The pieces were named in a peculiar way, relating and representing natural objects, such as flowers, with the materials used. Each piece is modern and aesthetically pleasing, and the guests showed their approval for the collection by expressing positive opinions aloud when visiting each station.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The artist confessed to being satisfied with the project, which was born in 2014 and is dedicated to his wife and children. Santiago, besides being the author of several artistic collections, also owns Twin Dogs Co., an industrial design firm in San Juan, he\u2019s proud of what he has achieved so far and believes that he fulfilled in his work as an artist when people express the desire to acquire one of his artworks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/insagrado.sagrado.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Pablo-Santiago-3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-16734 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/insagrado.sagrado.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Pablo-Santiago-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"786\" height=\"524\" srcset=\"https:\/\/insagrado.sagrado.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Pablo-Santiago-3.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/insagrado.sagrado.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Pablo-Santiago-3-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/insagrado.sagrado.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Pablo-Santiago-3-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/insagrado.sagrado.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Pablo-Santiago-3-1024x683.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 786px) 100vw, 786px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;It&#8217;s incredible to see that the message of your work reaches beyond an exhibition, it reaches a home,&#8221; commented Santiago excitedly.<\/span><\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The artist also thanked Sagrado for giving him the opportunity to exhibit his art before everyone. Pablo studied different artistic media in the Art League of San Juan. In the course of his preparation he was a disciple of specialists in ceramics such as Bernardo Hogan, Cristina C\u00f3rdova and Jerylin Verdin. In addition, he has a bachelor&#8217;s degree in Business Administration from the University of Puerto Rico. In the last decade, Santiago Romera has developed a personal style in the middle of ceramics and has actively participated in individual exhibitions in local and international galleries. His most recent solo exhibition was at 448 Contempo Gallery in New Jersey, USA.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>About the Art Gallery of the University of the Sacred Heart<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The University of the Sagrado Corazon believes in the relevance that art has in the life of the human being. As part of its mission, the institution promotes humanistic education and the development of the creative thinking of its members. For 24 years and a total of 107 exhibitions, the Art Gallery of the University of the Sagrado Corazon has received students and university staff as part of the academic offer of the institution, as
