You\u2019ve surely seen this pair: Delfy and Daphne, our Sagrado Coraz\u00f3n University mascots, going around campus with their endless joy and energy. InSagrado Magazine exclusively interviewed the beloved dolphins. Get to know them!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. What kind of dolphin are you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDaphne and I are anthropomorphic dolphins. That is, animals with human characteristics; odontocete cetaceans with elongated snouts, great intelligence and social behavior,\u201d explained Delfy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Are you related?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNo, we are not family; but we\u2019re great friends who sometimes flirt with each other,\u201d Daphne said, giggling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Are you on social media?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIn September 2021, I coaxed Delfy to open a TikTok account. And this adventure full of challenges and dances has been super fun for the @sagradopr account. Follow us!\u201d Daphne added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. What is your hobby?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGo see the games of our student-athletes to cheer from the heart with the fans. I yell: \u2018Vell\u00f3n, peseta; Sagrado se respeta<\/em>,\u2019 at the top of my lungs,\u201d assured Delfy while he burst out laughing. \u201cWe also join in at the beginning of the semester to meet all new students, and in graduations to celebrate the graduates\u2019 achievements,\u201d said Daphne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Why do you wear cheerleading clothes?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cChance favors those who are prepared. And our cheerleading outfits are perfect to support Sagrado students on and off the field,\u201d Delfy said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Where do you live?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSince we are Sagrado students, Delfy stays in the Men\u2019s Residence Hall, and I stay in the Women\u2019s Residence Hall. We have such a great time!\u201d Daphne exclaimed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Favorite colors?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBurgundy and yellow, the colors of Sagrado Coraz\u00f3n University,\u201d replied Daphne. Delfy nodded in agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. What musical genre do you prefer?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe enjoy hits in English and Spanish. Particularly those with positive lyrics and a cheerful rhythm, without excluding any musical genres,\u201d replied the dolphins. \u201cThe pool, of course,\u201d said the dolphins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou know it: \u2018A dolphin never gives up,\u2019 a phrase that we dedicate to our Sagrado students, as well as to the employees and faculty of our university,\u201d concluded Delfy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
