Sagrado<\/a><\/strong> opened its heart and its campus from August 9 to 12, 2022, to welcome new students to the 2022-2023 academic year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Events included a tour and talks \u201cintroduction to university life\u201d talks with advisors. There were also information kiosks by the Center for Collaborative Innovation<\/a><\/strong> (Neeuko) and representatives from La Cepita<\/a><\/strong>, such as Mait\u00e9 Torregrosa with Maiteria Prima (ceramics), Diego Barea with his clothing brand, Carlota P\u00e9rez with Tassel by CP (jewelry), and Yuliana Caraballo with K-Zpot (radio show).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The official welcome was in charge of the academic deans: Gabriel Paizy<\/strong>, from the Ferr\u00e9 Rangel School of Communication<\/a><\/strong> (ECFR, Spanish acronym); Javier Hern\u00e1ndez<\/strong>, from the School of Arts, Design, and Creative Industries<\/a><\/strong>; Dennis Rom\u00e1n<\/strong>, from the Department of Business Administration<\/a><\/strong>, Kiebelle Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong>, from the School of Health and Sciences<\/a><\/strong>, and Nadesha Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong>, director of the General Education Unit<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The president of the university, Gilberto Marxuach-Torr\u00f3s<\/strong>, was also there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIn Sagrado, I am happy. I found a good combination between art and business,\u201d 18-year-old Ariana Rodr\u00edguez, a Dolphin in the Arts and Entertainment Business program at the School of Arts, told inSagrado<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Gustavo Rodr\u00edguez Morales, hailing from Dorado and majoring in Graphic Design; agreed: \u201cAt the School of Arts, they have a diverse and flexible academic offer, which is ideal for combination.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like Ariana and Gustavo, the rest of the new Dolphins were enthusiastic about the start of the academic year on Tuesday, August 16. \u201cI\u2019m a part of Sagrado since I came to the Open House,\u201d said Yosean Mart\u00ednez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As for the students\u2019 families, they were advised by Centro Sof\u00eda<\/a><\/strong>, Sagrado Global<\/a><\/strong>, and the Student Aid Program (PAE). The day concluded in front of the Portico of the Sagrado Coraz\u00f3n building with students posing for a group photo with Delfy and Daphne, Sagrado\u2019s mascots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
