Sagrado Coraz\u00f3n University<\/a><\/strong> began its 2022-2023 academic year<\/strong> on August 16, between classes and a live campus with activities for everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Volunteers welcomed our Dolphins in information booths all around Sagrado. Students Alondra Echevarr\u00eda and Saribellian Ortiz<\/strong>, for example, were stationed at the Paseo La Vega area with music, orientation, and refreshments for Sagrado students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe helped (new students) get situated so they would not get confused with the buildings. We answered their questions and welcomed them joyfully,\u201d explained Alondra ,while also inviting everyone to the Associations Fair at the Student Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This start of the academic year also featured the You F1RST College Tour<\/strong>, an event organized by FirstBank and radio station La X with music by Luillo, the station’s DJ, and with Yosue Berr\u00edos as MC, leading attendees in games and contests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Sagrado units and student organizations such as the Young Business Leaders, the Social Work Student Association, and the American Medical Student Association, among others, also provided orientation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the revelry, inSagrado confirmed with three new students: Leonardo Ram\u00edrez from the Ferr\u00e9 Rangel School of Communication<\/a> (ECFR, Spanish acronym), and Raymond Orraca, and Gabriel Soler, from the School of Arts, Design, and Creative Industries<\/a>, that in Sagrado, \u201cyou feel at home.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As for Kelvin Colomba, a Journalism student, he added: \u201c(Being a journalist) is my dream. I am happy and confident because, at Sagrado, I will receive an excellent education that will prepare me for the work environment.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The feeling was shared by Virginia Sosa and Elizandro de la Cruz, both Nursing students, as well as Javier Santiago, from the Business Development program, and Jos\u00e9 Rivera, from the Marketing program. \u201cThe way they treat you here in Sagrado has been very good, with a lot of warmth,\u201d said the latter, and G\u00e9nesis Rosa, a transfer student from the International Studies and Global Communication program, agreed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delfy and Daphne, Sagrado\u2019s mascots, joined the You F1RST College Tour<\/strong> for a little dance to the rhythm of La X, wishing much success to all Sagrado students.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
