During the summer, students from the University of the Sacred Heart participated in La Cepita<\/em>, an immersive acceleration program focused on product and service development. Over eight weeks, participants worked on the conceptualization, design, and implementation of a functional prototype with commercialization potential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program combined intensive workshops, mentorship, and hands-on sessions centered on idea development, validation, and prototyping. Its goal is to provide students with a comprehensive experience that promotes both innovation and entrepreneurial thinking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Demo Day<\/em>, participants presented their projects to the university community. One of them was Shoot it Bruno<\/em>, created by student Eliezer Bruno, who shared: \u201cPresenting this project in front of my classmates and the Sagrado community means a lot to me because it marks the end of this stage, but also the beginning of my career as an entrepreneur.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Visual Arts student Alejandra Martorell, creator of Bam Book!<\/em>, explained that her motivation to join the program came from the opportunity to gain new business skills. \u201cAs a Visual Arts student, creating comes naturally to me, and what motivated me to participate in La Cepita<\/em> was the chance to develop those entrepreneurial skills I was missing,\u201d said Martorell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFor my project, La Cepita<\/em> has been an enriching and highly motivating experience. It helped me boost my creativity and present myself genuinely to my audience,\u201d said alumna and Resina Creativa<\/em> owner Pamela Mart\u00ednez, who also participated in Demo Day<\/em> and emphasized the program\u2019s impact on her personal and professional growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Cepita<\/em>, Demo Day<\/em>, and Sagrado\u2019s Entrepreneurship component continue to transform the way Sagrado students explore their creativity and develop viable projects.
