Sagrado recently held its Opportunities Fair, where hundreds of students connected with job opportunities, new professional contacts, and career preparation resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More than 80 organizations participated in the event, with approximately 400 students in attendance. The initiative expands the traditional concept of job fairs by also incorporating academic programs, student organizations, and mentorship spaces focused on students\u2019 personal and professional development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Lorena Franco, director of the Center for Professional and International Experiences<\/a> (CEPI, per its Spanish acronym), the workshops, talks, and orientations featured organizations from a variety of sectors, including education, the arts, accounting, marketing, audiovisual production, communications, and health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the participating organizations were the creative agency Casa Productora Ilegal<\/a> and GFR Media, which presented job opportunities in areas such as graphic design, content creation, journalism, and writing. Additionally, nonprofit organizations such as Amnesty International introduced development opportunities for students interested in social causes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond employment opportunities, some organizations, such as National Health Care Associates, Inc., also presented initiatives focused on transforming workplace culture in the healthcare sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For students, the fair represented a key space to explore their professional future and build connections. \u201cI have my portfolio ready and came to get oriented, network, and learn about opportunities,\u201d said student Diego Vega Mart\u00ednez in an interview with inSagrado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Lyon De Clypcia commented, \u201cI\u2019m focused on continuing to develop professionally, especially in community and social roles that align with my background in psychology.\u201d The student also attended the fair to help guide other students about academic and professional opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Opportunity Fair is held once per semester as part of the institution\u2019s efforts to facilitate students\u2019 transition into the workforce. Students interested in attending the next edition can follow CEPI\u2019s platforms on Instagram<\/a> and Facebook<\/a>, as well as the Eventos@Sagrado<\/a> page, to stay informed about upcoming activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
