While still in high school, he founded Mythik, a streetwear brand that has participated in events such as New York Fashion Week and San Juan Moda.

The graduate describes his years at Sagrado as “a period of constant growth,” during which he had the opportunity to develop his business idea into a tangible project with the support of spaces such as the Neeuko Collaborative Innovation Center and the Showcase. According to Fabián, the workshops and resources he accessed through Entrepreneurship courses enabled him to take his project beyond what was possible through social media alone and allowed him to present his product directly to customers.

Beyond developing critical thinking skills and transforming new ideas into real-world proposals, Fabián highlighted one of his greatest lessons: not being afraid to pursue new opportunities.

“The worst thing that can happen is that they tell you no, but the learning that comes from trying carries more weight than the rejection”, he said.

Camila Rivera Vega | School of General Education

Camila completed a Bachelor’s degree in Multidisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Theater, Dance, and Business Development. During her time at Sagrado, she participated in various entrepreneurship forums as well as dance recitals as part of her degree program. For her, these forums stood out as spaces for hands-on, community-based learning.

One of the experiences that had the greatest impact on Camila was her participation in the course Social Change: Philanthropy Lab, taught by Professor Anitza Cox as part of a partnership between Sagrado and The Philanthropy Lab. As part of the course, students formed a philanthropic board to evaluate proposals, analyze social needs, and ultimately award real funding to nonprofit organizations.

According to the graduate, one of the most valuable lessons she learned from working with the nonprofit sector is that every person—even a student—has the ability to help others and make a difference in society.

Lemuel Adriel Sánchez Pérez | School of Health and Sciences

Lemuel completed a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion with a minor concentration in Massage Therapy from the School of Health and Sciences. Throughout his academic journey, he also excelled as a student-athlete. This year, his role as shooting guard was instrumental in the Dolphins’ historic qualification for the LAI basketball championship finals. He was also awarded the Latido Sagrado Award during the 2025–2026 Sports Gala in recognition of his leadership and dedication to athletics.

Both academically and athletically, Lemuel credits his faith in Jesus as the foundation of all his endeavors. He expressed gratitude for “La Confra,” a student organization within the university’s pastoral ministry, which provided a weekly space for prayer and reflection on Scripture that strengthened his spirituality. The experience also inspired him to incorporate Bible study as a team-building spiritual practice with his basketball teammates.

Alexia Pérez Bosques | School of Arts, Design, and Creative Industries

Alexia, who holds the honor of being the salutatorian of the Class of 2026, graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Experience Design: Tourism and Events, with a minor concentration in Audiovisual Production and Film. As part of her student experience, she participated in international exchange programs that allowed her to immerse herself in one of her main areas of interest: cultural tourism. Along the way, she also conducted research on historic preservation in Puerto Rico.

According to Alexia, the challenges and opportunities she encountered during her time at Sagrado fostered both her personal and professional growth, helping her develop skills such as problem-solving, organizing ideas, and public speaking—skills she applies daily in her current role as a tour guide.

Tanairy Soto Rodríguez | Ferré Rangel School of Communication

Tanairy completed a double major in Journalism and International Studies and Global Communication, with a minor concentration in Theater and the distinction of Valedictorian of the Class of 2026. Her learning journey extended beyond the classroom, leading her to professional and service experiences both in Puerto Rico and abroad.

Among these experiences was her participation in the Jorge A. Ramos Comas Legislative Internship Program, where she gained insight into governance, legislative processes, and the judicial branch through workshops and site visits.

Internationally, Tanairy studied abroad in Mexico, where she connected with local organizations to engage in volunteer work. Among her service experiences, she highlighted her work with the organization Soñar Despierto, through which she had the opportunity to sponsor and support children living in low-income households or complex family situations. She also collaborated with the organization Techo in fundraising efforts to support the construction of housing for people experiencing homelessness.

Each of these students demonstrates through their achievements the core values of the Sacred Heart educational mission: an education centered on intellectual freedom and moral conscience, as well as a commitment to solidarity, justice, and peace.

Congratulations, Dolphins!

By Institutional
