At the Sagrado, academic excellence is not only a goal, but a value nurtured every day. Recently, the institution celebrated more than 2,000 students who distinguished themselves through dedication and consistency in their studies, as part of the Sagrado Achievers and Honor Roll programs. This initiative is led by the Dean of Students.

“We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the students recognized, and we reaffirm our institutional commitment to fostering a university experience that celebrates merit, professional growth, and the holistic development of every member of our community,” said professor José Manuel Lozano Rivera, dean of students.

Sagrado Achievers

The Sagrado Achievers program recognizes students who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to their university education. In this edition, 780 continuing students were distinguished for their academic performance, discipline, and steady progress toward graduation.

The program honors students who completed all their courses with a minimum GPA of 3.0 while maintaining an academic load of 14 credits or more per semester.

This year, for the first time, 230 first-year students were also recognized for their academic excellence in high school and their commitment upon joining Sagrado. This new component aims to celebrate the early achievements of those beginning their university journey with clear goals and a defined sense of purpose.

Honor Roll

Additionally, 1,438 students were recognized as members of the Honor Roll for the second semester of the 2024–2025 academic year. This distinction celebrates the consistency of those who achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher, or a GPA of 3.50 over the last two semesters, in addition to having passed all enrolled courses.
