College Exploration Workshops bring together hundreds of families for a day of academic exploration

Sagrado hosted its College Exploration Workshops, an academic experience designed to guide high school students as they explore their university options. This year, the event welcomed 255 twelfth-grade students, many accompanied by their families, for a day that combined school-specific workshops, hands-on experiences, and personalized guidance.

Participants explore basic scientific concepts during a workshop offered by the School of Health and Sciences.

As part of the Sagrado experience, students participated in workshops by academic school, where they engaged in dialogue with faculty, explored areas of study, developed a project aligned with their academic interests, and took part in practical experiences connected to their potential future fields.

Panelists discuss academic value and financial opportunities at Sagrado.

In addition to student workshops, the event featured two informational panels for parents and guardians focused on the institution’s services and academic offerings. Families also received specialized guidance on financial aid options and practical resources to support students throughout the university admissions process.

Parents and guardians take part in a historical campus tour as part of the orientation designed to support their decision-making process.

During the visit, attendees participated in the “145 Years” historical tour, explored the Informational Oasis stations, and enjoyed a showcase featuring projects from student entrepreneurs, prepared especially for the occasion.

“This event is part of our commitment to offering enriching experiences to high school students interested in pursuing higher education,” said Joyce M. Martínez González, chief marketing and admissions officer. This initiative reflects the institution’s dedication to accompanying future university students in a meaningful and supportive way.
