The university begins the 2025–2026 academic year with new academic projects, more residences, and greater financial aid for the student community.

The Universidad del Sagrado Corazón welcomes the 2025–2026 academic year with projects that reaffirm its commitment to accessible, innovative, and globally minded education.
In October, the new School of Business will open its doors with state-of-the-art spaces designed to continue preparing leaders with an entrepreneurial mindset and 21st-century skills. The current catalog will expand to include a bilingual bachelor’s degree in Business Analysis and new minors in Finance, Global Supply Chain, and Talent Management.
Sagrado is also continuing its growth plan, positioning itself as a residential campus, now reaching 900 student housing spaces thanks to an investment of over $2 million. All residences are located on or near campus, with 24/7 security and services.
As part of its commitment to expanding access to higher education for Puerto Rican youth, this year the university will award nearly $2 million in scholarships and financial aid to more than 1,000 students, including the Sagrado Pre-Achievers program and additional support for outstanding undergraduates.
“These projects reflect our vision of an accessible, residential, and globally engaged university, offering students both the academic preparation and the local and international practical experiences they will need to successfully embark on their professional paths. We were founded by the Sociedad del Sagrado Corazón, a global organization with educational and social projects on every continent. Inspired by them, we want to open Sagrado’s doors to both send and receive students from all over the world. This is the vision of our new strategic plan, Sagrado 2030 — a Catholic university, serving the community, urban, culturally vibrant, and globally oriented,” said Sagrado President Gilberto J. Marxuach Torrós.
