They were keeping social distance and wearing face masks, but they were happy. This is how 16 Sagrado student athletes recently received a well-deserved and safeguarded face-to-face homage.

According to the vice president of student affairs, María Elena Batista Santaella, the honorees were recipients of the Insignia Letter, with which they were recognized for complementing four years of outstanding sports performance in the Liga Atlética Interuniversitaria (Intercollegiate Sports League, or LAI, Spanish acronym), and successfully completing their academic studies.

During the ceremony, the honored students were presented with a framed Insignia Letter by Batista Santaella and Héctor Magdiel Rivera Rosado, manager of the Sagrado Athletic Office.

The activity, carried out in the interior courtyard of the Barat Sur building, was carried out following the strict security protocol implemented by the institution as a precautionary measure against the COVID-19 pandemic.
