Sagrado Corazón University and the School of Pharmacy of Notre Dame of Maryland University (NDMU) recently signed an agreement to provide students with the opportunity to complete an accelerated program leading to a Bachelor’s degree in Sciences and Ph.D. in Pharmacy.
The program takes seven years of study. “The program consists of approximately 90 semester hours in Sagrado and a four-year professional pharmacy studies plan (146 credits) at the NDMU School of Pharmacy,” explained the director of Sagrado’s Department of Natural Sciences, Dr. Peter Barbosa.
He added that, while a student is enrolled in the program, he/she must maintain a 3.0 GPA and a 3.0 GPA in science courses.
“Once the candidate is admitted, he/she will begin the first year of the professional program at NDMU in the fall semester after completing his/her junior year of Sagrado’s Bachelor of Science curriculum,” he said.
