Universidad del Sagrado Corazón (Sagrado) and Agenda Ciudadana announced a strategic partnership aimed at promoting social impact projects through creative, integrative, and community-centered learning experiences that address the country’s needs. The collaboration seeks to strengthen a community of leaders committed to sustainable development, urban planning, community development, and fostering active citizenship in Puerto Rico.
As part of the agreement, 30 members of the Sagrado university community—15 faculty members and 15 non-teaching staff members—will receive free access to the Civic Education for a United and Sustainable Country program, developed by Agenda Ciudadana.
The initiative responds to the various social challenges facing Puerto Rico, including violence, inequality, distrust towards institutions, and the weakening of essential services. These issues directly affect communities and the organizations that serve them, many of which operate with limited resources while facing high demands and workforce burnout.

In response to these challenges, the program aims to strengthen the capacities of leaders and professionals by developing social, communication, and emotional competencies that facilitate conflict management, promote collaboration, and contribute to building sustainable solutions to the challenges facing the country.
Through this partnership, Universidad del Sagrado Corazón and Agenda Ciudadana reaffirm their commitment to transformative education, civic engagement, and strengthening the social fabric as essential tools for building a more just, participatory, and sustainable Puerto Rico.
