The Universidad del Sagrado Corazón community recently gathered in the Main Chapel to celebrate the Graduation Mass for the Class of 2026. During the ceremony, three students were honored with the Pórtico Medal, and the institution presented the Rosa Filipina Duchesne Medal to Chef Iván Clemente.

Named after “the first missionary of the Society of the Sacred Heart,” this medal honors individuals who have crossed boundaries in service to others through acts of solidarity. Since founding Kennedy’s Community Kitchen (El Comedor de la Kennedy), Chef Clemente has provided free meals to thousands of children and adults. His work is a living example of the vocation of solidarity and service promoted by the Sacred Heart educational mission.
